4.7-inch iPhone 6 already up for pre-order; is the final look revealed?

iPhone 6 has been causing a wave around the world with many people speculating the looks and specifications and making mock-ups using different rendering software.

However, going by the number of leaks around the internet, one can almost confirm that Apple will reveal two size-variants of the most awaited iPhone 6 to the world. While one is a 4.7-incher, the other one will be a phablet at 5.5 inches.

BRIKK, a Los Angeles designer and manufacturer of couture products and accessories for the technology and lifestyle industries, has announced on its website that they shall supply luxury iPhone 6 handsets (under the ‘LUX iPhone 6’ brand name) of the 4.7-inch variant when they release. Presently one can pre-order the handsets at a cost of a non-refundable $500 (approx Rs 30,000) and the balance could be paid when the handset is finally up for sale. BRIKK has also added a disclaimer stating "This is a deposit towards the purchase of a lux iPhone 6. This non refundable deposit will guarantee that you receive a lux iPhone 6 from the first batch of units made. The balance due will be required by the time the iPhone 6 is launched by apple. BRIKK does not guarantee the specs of the phone or the look and feel of the phone."

The pictures on the website reveal the fact that Apple has given out the design details to the manufacturer in order to start their process. Unfortunately, BRIKK has indirectly revealed the look of the iPhone 6 (4.7-inch model) to the world (see image below for an approximate look of the altered imaged from a Titanium LUX iPhone 6). Sadly, they have not opted for the 5.5-inch phablet version since the manufacturer (most likely) does not expect the affluent to opt for a large-size smartphone.

Well, now that the look of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 has been revealed by BRIKK, you must know that they won’t come cheap. BRIKK has put up a total of 29 different variants of the luxury iPhone 6 up for pre-order. The iPhones are both built with gold or platinum and studded with diamonds. BRIKK uses rare materials and complex processes to create editions of each product.

The minimum price of a luxury iPhone 6 (Black iPhone 6 with 24k yellow gold) is rated at $4,495, which converts to approximately Rs 2.8 lakh. A white iPhone with 950 platinum and studded with diamonds (One carat (1.08 CARATS) of COLOR DE AND CLARITY VVS1 brilliant diamonds) will cost a whopping $8,795 (approx Rs 5.5 lakh).
