Sex theme park to open in Taiwan

What better way to prepare for Valentine's Day than planning a trip to a sex theme park?
Developers of a proposed tourist destination in Taiwan are banking on the age old theory that sex sells. In an attempt to cash in on the idea, tourism officials in Taiwan are proposing that a 60-kilometer (37-miles) long stretch of land along the island's southern coast be used to house a theme park for lovers.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the attraction titled "Romantic Boulevard" will feature "an array of places for lovebirds, including a glass church, heart-shaped arches and a kinky outdoor park full of erotic sculptures depicting people or animals in various lovemaking positions."
The "sex theme park" will not be a first of its kind. Roughly a thousand miles north of Taiwan, South Korea's Jeju Loveland park, which the Huffington Post dubbed "The World's Kinkiest Theme Park" has been entertaining visitors since 2004 in an immersive atmosphere filled with naughty statues of people engaged in various sex acts along with giant figures depicting oversized genitalia.
"We want people to fall in love with Taiwan as well as fall in love while in Taiwan," said Shih Chao-hui, was quoted saying. He is Taiwan's deputy director of Southwest Coastal National Scenic Area Office who has also proposed the "Romantic Boulevard." "We even plan to have a 'Lost Paradise' for those who are broken-hearted," he added.
The idea quickly drew attention in Taiwan with some applauding the idea as refreshing and cutting edge and others concerned that it may be sending the "wrong message."
The park will also include a ‘scenic area’ for wedding photos and is to be based on South Korea’s popular Jeju Park.
