TS Pavilion at Davos Grabs Attention

HYDERABAD: The state government has established a state-of-the-art pavilion at the World Economic Forum which has become a centre of attraction at the ongoing annual meeting at Davos. The pavilion showcases Telangana as a state where tradition meets innovation, life sciences meet data sciences, technology meets talent, industry meets inclusivity and sustainability meets economic gcrowth.

The pavilion aims to position the state as a prime destination for global investments.

A statement said a special attraction of the pavilion was the intricately designed walls that enhance the fusion of tradition and modernity. Beyond showcasing the cultural heritage, the pavilion welcomes global investors with the slogans, "Telangana, a world of opportunities" and "Telangana, your first stop in India", demonstrating the advantages of investing in the state.

The platform was designed to promote Telangana state's cultural heritage, featuring festivals like Bathukamma and Bonalu, historical landmarks like Charminar, and contributions from local artists in areas such as painting and Pochampally Ikkat.

The pavilion prominently highlights the state’s advancements in various sectors, including T-Hub, the centre for IT and technological innovation, and the notable achievements of companies in different sectors including aerospace.

A media statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had taken proactive steps to attract world-famous companies, emphasising the blend of traditional and innovative elements. The pavilion featured inventions with a traditional touch, such as Jiva Vaidya, and integrates data science to showcase the region's talent.
